fit2D

The "fit2d" software from ESRF is installed on g1hutch. fit2d can read ADSC .img files. There is a 30 page introduction and a 300 page interactive manual on the ESRF website:

smv2tif

For converting series of ADSC .img files into the .tif format for use with other data evaluation software, Marian Szebenyi wrote a little program called "smv2tif".

• start the program: smv2tif
• input name [inname]nnn.img: provide filename [inname] without running number [nnn] and extension [.img]
• first/last: provide first and last number of the series, e.g.  12 126
• output array: use size of the detector. e.g.  1152 1152  for the Quantum 1

output name will be [outname]nnn.tif : provide outname, the rest will be generated by the program.
