G1 Hardware Flicam Detector
The Flicam CCD detector has a pixel size of 69.78 mm and a total array of 1024 x 1024 pixels. the active area is directly at the front plate of the detector.
The Flicam detector can be run from the spec interface. To start the real time ADSC window, which auto-updates after each exposure, type autoview from the specuser prompt at g1hutch. Start each time with a short exposure time (0.1 s) after you opened the garage door to make sure the beamstop is in place.
The commands are as follows:
ccd_on: switch to ccd mode
ccd_off: turns the ccd mode off. Do this for line-up measurements, where you do dscan or ascans
dark <n>: takes two dark images, both for <n> seconds, dezingers them and keeps the dezingered image
corr <m> <n>: takes <m> images for <n> seconds, subtracts for each the background, which has been taken with dark <n> and corrects for intensity and distortion.
If <m> = 1, the corrected file will be stored under <filename>_<runnumber>_c.tif.
If <m> is larger then 1, all the images will be dezingered and corrected like described above. The file will be stored under <filename>_<runnumber>_cz.tif.
The single raw images will be stored under <filename>_<runnumber>_<scannumber>.tif.
You can load images into the ADSC- software or into Fit2d to view your data.
